The Butler Youth Jazz Orchestra is a camp that takes place every 8 weeks once a semester for young high school jazz students to learn from Butlers jazz faculty and students. I am a teaching assistant helping with program lessons and teach basic jazz to the students. It has been a fulfilling experience, to watch students gain new skills every week. I look forward to seeing how well the students continue to grow in the coming weeks.
