The Butler University Jazz Ensemble performed with the Butler Symphony Orchestra, in a tribute to Leonard Bernstein’s centennial. I played piano with the BU Jazz Ensemble, and the symphony. That was a thrill for me because I’ve never played with a symphony. It is quite different from playing solo piano, and quite exhilarating.
